Hi and Salam, I'm Taoufiq - surfer, host and true Tamraghti.
I was born and raised in Tamraght - just a few steps away from the Atlantic Ocean.
I first stood on a board at the age of nine and started giving surf lessons when I was twelve. Since then, I've been sharing my passion for the waves - and above all my knowledge of the special features of our local surf spots.
Because there's hardly anything better than catching the perfect wave at the right time - and I'll help you do just that.
I love the waves, good food and the relaxed surf culture that characterises our life here.
With my small, family-run surf camp, I want to show you what real Morocco is all about:

Fatima and Khadisha not only ensure that the house is lovingly cared for and spotlessly clean - they are also the magical cooks behind our daily soul food.
With a lot of heart and dedication, they prepare fresh breakfasts and traditional Moroccan dinners every day - from aromatic tajines to fragrant couscous.
Not only does experience flow into every dish, but also a good portion of love.
And most importantly, they are always there when you need them - quietly, attentively and warmly. Without them, Wave Gypsy wouldn't be what it is: a place where you really feel at home.
