The easiest way to get to Wave Gypsy in Tamraght is to fly into Agadir.

Alternatively, you can also fly to Marrakech.

In our 7 nights surf packages the transfer from the airport/bus station Agadir is included in your stay. From Agadir Airport it takes about 30 minutes - 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on traffic.

We also organize transfers from Marrakech to our house. The private vehicle is not included in the package and costs €120 (max. 4 people). The transfer from Marrakech can take up to 4 hours depending on traffic. If you need a transfer, just write to us and we will organize everything for you.

by bus:

From Marrakech some bus companies (Supratours or CTM) go to Agadir almost every hour. For information and telephone numbers, write to us or simply look directly at the bus company's website.

by car

From Agadir, head north on the N1. This road goes straight. through Tamraght. The driving distance is approx. 35 km.

From Marrakech head southwest on the N8. At the beginning we head west towards Essaouira. After 260 km and about 2.5 hours you will reach Agadir. From here, head north on the N1 to Tamraght. Below you will find a detailed map of how to get there.

travel delays

If your flight/bus is delayed, please let us know as soon as possible and send us the new arrival time.

In Morocco we use Dirham (MAD) – 10DH = 1€. Almost everything in Morocco is still paid for in cash, especially here in the suburbs. At the ATMs you can withdraw 2000DH (approx. 200€) per session (you can of course repeat this as often as you like, depending on the card limit).

What clothes do I need?

Morocco is a liberal Muslim country where wearing shorts and t-shirts is no problem for both men and women. Bikinis and swimming trunks are normal on the beach, but it's advisable to cover your arms and legs when walking around town. Shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops are normal. Pants and sweaters are sometimes needed, especially in mid-winter when the evenings can be a bit chilly, so warm clothing is a good idea during this time.

In Tamraght people are familiar with tourists, are polite and helpful. Moroccans speak Arabic, most are fluent in French and some also speak English and German. There is another dialect here in the region, that of the

We speak Berber. This is called Tamaziɣt.
